Every time the holiday season approaches, we hear the popular saying “New Year, new me.”  But when will the talk become reality? New Year resolutions are sometimes forgotten about as soon as February hits. Resolutions can be either long term or the infamous short term. Some resolutions can be simple like, “I’m going to start taking my dog for walks more often” or more complex or detailed like, “I want to lose 60 pounds by the first week of March.” No matter what, a resolution is a resolution.

In the year of 2017, I can’t speak for everyone, but I know I have made a lot of mistakes and have learned from them. Hopefully, as I come into 2018, I will no longer make the same mistakes. I wish to make and uphold a resolution to do great in all aspects of my life; therefore – academically, financially, spiritually, etc – I wish you all hold up to your resolutions and strive to do great in life.
